We were asked to create a tactical scope packed with as many features as possible but small enough and light enough to be carried on any platform. The Mark III Tactical Series was the Answer to this call. We took the top qualities of the Mark III as a starting point to create a pact scope with prominent lines and solid controls. The Mark III Tactical Series is infused with two distinct Quick Release options for a standard weaver style/ picatinny rail or an AR/ M16 carry handle. Professionals and Enthusiasts will agree that the Mark III Tactical Series is designed to handle the job no matter what gets in the way! 4.0 out of 5 stars Great Tactical Scope for your AR on the cheap!, October 8, 2011

This review is from: NcSTAR® 2 - 7x32 mm Mark III Illuminated Reticle Tactical Scope Weaver / Picatinny Mount (Misc.)
So I just wanted to put this out there. I went to the gun show today and bought a NcStar Mark III P4 Sniper 2-7X32. It came with a quick mount for the flat top AR already attached. I paid 95 bucks for the scope. Initially the mount didn't clamp down on my AR tightly, but without reading the directions I was easily able to tighten the mount to the point where it was rock solid and still popped off without a fight. I then took it out to the range to zero it. I didn't boresight it first. There is a BDG turret on top that goes from 100-500 yards in five clicks. There is a screw cap on top of that which reveals the adjustment knob for elevation. I really like this feature. The windage turret however does not have a mark that shows you which number you are dialed in at. It spins past itself at least twice in each direction, but the clicks are distinct and not too loose. I bought the last one, which was the display so it was scewed with alot and that may account for how off it was on the...Read more

This review is from: NcSTAR® 2 - 7x32 mm Mark III Illuminated Reticle Tactical Scope Weaver / Picatinny Mount (Misc.)
Bought this scope to sit on top of my M&P 15-22. It was very easy to mount and I love the quick release lever because I can easily switch between the scope and my CQB sight. The scope zeroed easily at 25 yards and held zero through over 100 rounds. The sniper reticle is clear and does not cover the target excessively at that distance. Quality of the optic was surprisingly good given the low price of the scope.

This review is from: NcSTAR® 2 - 7x32 mm Mark III Illuminated Reticle Tactical Scope Weaver / Picatinny Mount (Misc.)
I bought this scope to go on a budget built ar15. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this scope. The quick release mount works very well when adjusted properly and the glass is very clear. I zeroed it for 100 yards, and was able to shoot very decent groups (1-1.5 inches). I did get an occasional flyer that would open the group up to 2-2.5 inches. I consider that very acceptable "combat accuracy" especially for the price of this thing. After shooting groups at 100 yards, I turned the turret on top to "200" and was able to ding a 6" metal target on every shot. I then removed the scope from the gun, sighted in the iron sights that had to move when I installed the scope. When I was done, I re-installed the scope and started shooting groups at 100 yards again. The point of impact shifted about 2 inches to the left, which is not great, but considering the price and the fact that this is just a plinker gun for me I am very happy with it. If you're looking for a decent scope on...Read more
