The scope mounted easily on my SIG-556 with no problems. Construction is solid. The quick release functions well. The scope sighted in fine at 100 yards and was clear at all magnifications. Windage and elevation adjustment worked fine. I was able to achieve 2-3" groups with inexpensive .223 ammo. No problems with the mount loosening through 100 rounds. The scope lost one star because, as mentioned in other reviews, the illumination in either color is too bright at the lowest setting in very low light conditions. Decent tactical scope for the money.

I didn't purchase this from Amazon, but from a local Firearms & Ammo Supply company in town for $100. I am use to using iron sights on my AR's, as I have my entire time while in the military, but I wanted something a bit more tactical and easier getting on targets down range and faster. This scope is PERFECT! Love the reticles also. The Rangefinder crosshairs are perfect, and you can also do quick adjustments in increments of 100 yards up to 500 yards. The red and green reticles are excellent. When in low light, this would definitely be helpful.

I give this scope a 5 star rating. I highly recommend this scope for any shooter. Not only for the quality and uses of this scope, but it also just looks sweet!

Also, my M&P 15 Sport AR-15 5.56 has a front iron sight, and this scope is at a perfect height and the front iron sight isn't an issue.

The scope and mount is worth the money. Mounted to my AR very easy. Took about 10 rounds to sight in. The reason I rated it a 3 is because the light is way to bright to use at dusk or dawn green or red. Even though you can adjust the brightness you can not turn it down far enough to see anything but red or green. Works fine during the day.
