Very functional and stays zeroed on my SKS with a drilled and tapped mount. Don't expect high quality, crystal-clear optics at this price, just a functional scope that works a whole lot better than open sights and holds a zero.
For a cheap compact 3-9 you cant go wrong.,

Mounted to an SKS using a dust/receiver cover. (see picture above)
The sight is nice and has a BDC (which stands for Ballistic Drop Compensating) reticle which is a series of hashes that are of varied size kind of like a tapering ladder like an orchard ladder.
Anyway the sight is clear enough but is not as clear as higher end scopes.

By sheer coincidence I can use this sight to relatively place an accurate shot using the BDC reticle, I am using wolf surplus 124 gr. ammo, and can use the second hash at 200 yards which allowed me to skip a can around on the ground every second or third shot which is pretty awesome for the SKS.
Ultimately this made my SKS a really fun shooter even if it looks a little rediculous.

You get what you pay for even then its not to bad. This is not a bad scope for the price you can get much better but not for the price.
