I have been an avid outdoorsman for over 40yrs. I pride myself with purchasing products that accomplish its task without having to spend an inordinate amount of money. In my experiences, Simmons products and especially the AETEC line provide the utmost in dependability and optical quality. I compared the 2.8-10 AETEC to several scopes costing up to 5 times the AETEC price and I couldn't tell the images apart. The power change is smooth and point of impact remain the same. Under low light conditions the AETEC does its job providing bright and clear images. I highly recommend the Simmons AETEC line of optics for anyone who desires to own a set of premium optics without having to hide the cost to their wife/husband! :)

I bought the item and payed,then the guy e-mailed me and said that it wasn't silver ,it was matte black.really wanted the scope but i guess the sales person did'nt have it in silver like advertised.
