I bought this for my Mosin-Nagant 91/30 bolt action rifle chambered in 7.62x54r.
It's exactly what I need. The bolt on the Mosin sticks out to the right without curving "downward" like most bolt action rifles do. So when you move the bolt to chamber a new round and eject the spend casing, it stands straight up. I got a rail adapter that is just forward of that so I could attach a scope, but it's several inches forward of where you would normally have your scope. The long eye relief is a great solution for that. I was hoping for a 3-9 power, but 2-7 is still good. I recommend it if you have a Mosin-Nagant or other rifle where the scope is farther up the barrel than usual.

This with a set of Leapers Accushot 1 Rings, Medium, 3/8 Dovetail, 4 Screws/Cap is the perfect setup for the Mosin if you want something more secure than the flat weaver rail that goes on top of of the rear site, don't want to mod the bolt handle and can't afford/don't want to buy an actual Soviet sniper scope for your rifle.

The title speaks for itself, I am shocked how awesome this product is for this price. The illuminated cross hairs option (different shades of green and red) is a great option for targets with a dark colored back drop.
I'm using the "no drill" rear sight rail system on a Mosin Nagant, the long eye relief is literally the perfect distance option for that gun
