Summary: Falls Apart After 300 Rounds!!! 2010-02-24
Comment: Shipping was good, no problems there. The Scope itself is cheaply made and not ment for the shock of rifle fire. This unit is better used on a air soft or .22 cal rifle. This unit fell apart after 300 rounds from my AR-15. Crosshairs shifted, light switch fell apart. I was able to repair this unit and noticed the poor construction of the unit. It will happen again and agian. I have since donated this scope to the local landfill. Save your money and look at ATN for a good AR-15 scope, little more money but well worth it.

Comment: It is as listing was described. You definitely get what you paid for. Only recommendation is use care with the mounting hardware. They feel as if they could strip easy. Mine is mounted and has seen use. Was easy to sight in and so far has held its MOA.

Summary: Awesome Scope For The Price 2009-12-30
Comment: Very cool little scope. Very clear view and the Red and Green illumination is nice. At a little under 5 inches of eye relief, it helps to have a little space on your mounting rail for fore and aft positioning to suit your setup. I mounted on my Ruger Archangel Charger. The rails on the scope are nice and very functional. A Doctor red dot fits perfect on the top rail and the view window sits directly over the scopes illumination adjustment knob. The left side rail is perfect for a low profile laser. The right side rail can be functional, but you will probably block the adjustment knob. This scope (and doctor red dot) would be a great addition to an AR setup (in my opinion).

Summary: good scope for the value 2009-12-15
Comment: This scope is very good very easy to sight in. Build quality is very good a customer said it was built cheap but I find it sturdy and for the value you can't beat it. It is very accurate after sighting in properly. Does not lose setting after many use just make sure mounting bolts are secure but do not over tighten parts that are made of aluminum alloy. One customer complained about stripping a hex bolt but I think he overtightened it it's an aluminum alloy like all other scopes so make sure you use the proper size hex wrench/allen wrench. I recommend it if you don't want to spend lots of $$ and still hit your targets at 100, 200 yards.

Summary: Hardware fell apart. 2009-10-14
Comment: The product took over a month to finally arrive. The mounting for this product contains cheap, soft metal bolts. Upon installing for the first time, the allen head rounded. In order to remove, it needed to be drilled out. I contacted Barska about a warranty replacement. They would not honor their one year warranty, and wanted $10 for replacement parts. The bolts themselves could have only cost pennies to replace, and the low weight would have cost next to nothing to ship. Barska refused to budge on the product. After this experience, I will no longer purchase their products. I have purchased other items of theirs, and noted a similar cheapness to their parts. Be warned, these are not quality pieces.
