The mounts packaged with the scope were not great (useable but not great) I replaced them with the original order. I am using this with a .22LR bolt action and can not think or a better deal for the price.
Have not had any issues, and the 30 mm tube makes for a better product, the only drawback is in the clearness of the bar and cross with the focusing.

I wanted a no frills scope for my 10/22. Fixed power scopes are a tough thing to find these days. My personal opinion is that if you are going cheap on a scope you should give fixed power consideration. Less parts, less moving parts, should mean better reliability.
The bad: When I opened the box I was dissaponted to see some uneven applicaton of lens coatings. Optically this doesn't seem to have made a difference, but is cosmetically dissapointing. Also, the scope rings that are included are not very beefy. Surely good enough for mounting on a rimfire, but I would consider better rings for high-powered application.
The Good: The german style reticle is unusual and very good. The turrets seem well constructed and the click adjustments are good. They are also finger adjustable. Why would you want anything different. Also, the 30mm tube will give you a brighter image.
Overall not bad for $55. Not the $250 scope for $50 bucks that I was hoping...Read more
