Reasonably well made except for the alignment feature that interfaces with the rifle. Mine was off center resulting in the two top gas holes pointing to 11:00. Not much of a gas expansion chamber, either.

This item came as advertized. It will add some weight and lenght to your barrel, it is a 100% improvement over the sloppy fit of the original and it qualifies as one of the US made parts that are required on certain models. I did have to cut a thin leather washer to get it tighten-up perfectly, but that was expected on my old Romainian AK...
