When I received the scope mount the first issue is the mounting plate wouldn't slide in as it was too thick. I took a sharpening stone and ground the plate down until it was the right diameter to fit in and it was able to get in their fine after a bit of work.

Once I was able to get the mount on and locked in I discovered a second issue. When the screw that secures the rail to the plate was turned enough to have it not flop around it reached too far in touching the part underneath and causing jams. I fixed that by slipping a #10 flat washer under the screw.

With those modifications it works perfect for a scope mount.

I'm giving it 2 stars because I use it but expected something working out of the box which it didn't.

The rail itself feels sturdy, but the design for attaching it to the gun is awful. Upon tightening the attachment screw, the provided anchor plate snapped in half, later popping off violently during shooting. This happened because the screw itself is too long and pushes against the gun, snapping the plate. If you still buy this, attach the plate to the rail and tighten, then file off the protruding end of the screw. That should prevent cracking.

the actual scope mount is fine. the screw is OK. the plate that the screw connects to is absolute trash. the very first time i put it on the rifle the plate broke in two. this made it so that the mount wouldn't connect to my normal plate. so i used the screw to connect my old mount on to the plate. i am very dissapointed. i paid 15$ for a screw.
