I have purchased two different BSA scopes. The first one was the 3-9x50 illuminated scope from Amazon. When I received it, I was severely disappointed in the quality of the image when the scope was illuminated. There was a large red blob in the left side of the image. So, I returned that scope, having never mounted it on my Mini-14 rifle.

As a replacement for the scope above, I purchased the BSA Huntsman 3-9x40 scope with RGB illumination. The view through the scope was much clearer when illuminated, although there is a lot of light bleed when the scope is illuminated on it's higher brightness settings.

However, this scope will not hold zero at all. On my last 3 trips to the range, I had to re-sight-in the scope, as it was off by 5-10 MOA each time. Even after each re-sight-in, my groups were much larger than when shooting with iron sights at the same distance.

The illuminated red,green and blue reticle has stopped working again and this is a second unit. The first scope had the same issue. Batteries have been changed also.
