BSA 6-24X44 Tactical Rifle Scope with Big Wheel Focus Knob and Mil-Dot Reticle
This review is from: BSA 6-24X44 Tactical Rifle Scope with Big Wheel Focus Knob and Mil-Dot Reticle (Sports)
I've used BSA optics on airguns for years, and my experience has always been that they're reliable optics at a relatively low price. I found this particular scope locally on sale, which made it an even better deal. It'll focus as close as 10 yards, which means it wouldn't be a bad choice for airgun field target.
One interesting feature is the built-in irises that protect the objective and eyepiece. A quick twist opens or closes each, and in the closed position they should provide good protection from dust and dirt. They won't protect the scope from errant fingers or bumping against other objects, so I'm protecting mine with a neoprene scope cover as well.
Despite the "tactical" label I don't think this is a solid enough scope for use in anything you'd really term a tactical situation. I plan on using mine for rimfire benchrest competition and informal target shooting, and for those uses it should serve me well.
