I wanted a cheap red dot and the BSA delivered. I knew what to expect at this price point after reading lots of reviews and descriptions across the web. Yes, its not high end, so don't expect high end features. The dot is rather large and blurry and it can be hard to see in certain light conditions. But, I bought this for a home defense gun and for that its perfect.

Im very plead with the item... The delivery time fast. The item is super for what you pay. It took me only 10 minutes to put it on in my rile and 6 minute to zero in. Shoot 5 rounds at 75 yards target and hit dead center on 4 times... I miss one coz the wind was blowing hard and I dont took time asure the elevation.. The item is well constructed and is not plastic. Absorbe the round impact and dont put out the zero setting. I recommend it for all this hunter and amateur on the sport field

Only suited for low recoil firearms,

I ordered this scope to put on my AK 47 (Romanian Sar 1). When I tried to sight in the rifle I was very dissapointed with the scopes performance. My first three shots from a shooting rest grouped decently, after that each shot would climb approximatey 6 inches higher than the previous shot. I was shooting at approximately 75 yards. The scope and mount were both tight. Only thing I can correlate the rising of the shots with is the scope not being able to hold zero/handle the recoil.
I then placed the scope onto my Ruger 10/22 and am very pleased with its performance. The scope so far has held zero (approximately 400 rounds). Scope was easy to sight in. My advice is dont use this scope on any firearm that has more recoil than a 22.
