I like the Burris FF sight -- and the actual sight is 5 stars.
This mount comes with a small dovetail piece and a base adapter. You have to drift out the rear sight and replace it with the small dovetail piece. Then the adapter fits over that. The adapter has the 4 pins that the Burris FF sight requires. You use 2 Torx screws to mount the sight to the dovetail piece with the base adapter in between plus the gasket plate. The adapter bottom is curved to match the Ruger's round receiver -- and it has a cutout permit access to the Ruger's main takedown pin (bolt stop pin.)
You might prefer to use either a Picatinney rail or the Ruger supplied rail (for MKIII) so you can remove the FF. There are also short Picatinney rails that will mount in the dovetail for the rear sight -- consider them if you are OK with removing the rear sight. These alternative methods require a Fast Fire with the Picatinney mount.
