An incredible value. Very satisfied with the trade off in cost vs. quality. I have a couple of other Bushnell Scopes and was looking to puts optics on a Ruger 10/22 Rifle. Fits the bill for an affordable Scope with out too much compromise.

This scope is perfect for what I bought it for. I purchased it for my son's first rifle (Remington 700, .308). It was easy for him to install and it's VERY clear. It wasn't far off target right out of the box. A little tweaking and it's great. So if you want a good scope for a decent price this is it.

Bushnell Trophy XLT 3-9 X 40mm was purchased as a compliment to a stainless steel plinking rifle. I purchased in a silver finish to compliment a stainless steel rifle and it matches very well. The picture is very clear and bright at 3X and provides a decent picture at the higher function setting. One negative is that around the edges of the sight picture quality degrades slightly but at this price it is more than adequate. Adjustments are easy to understand and have a solid feel when your changing windage and elevation. Out of the box the sight only had to be adjusted a bit up to put me right on target. For the more hardcore hunters or people wanting to use this for combat purposes a anti reflection device or sunshade are not available options to my knowledge. The rear scope cover directly interfers with diopter adjustment but in all honesty you shouldn't be messing with that after an initial use anyway so that's not a real concern.
