About Roof Prism Binoculars: The prism system of a binocular reduces the size needed to contain a long optical path and turns what would be an upside-down image right-side-up. In roof prism binoculars, the prisms overlap closely, allowing the objective lenses to line up directly with the eyepiece. The result is a slim, streamlined shape in which the lenses and prisms are in a straight line. Roof prism binoculars are less bulky and more rugged than an equivalent porro model.

Disappointing,

I found focusing these binoculars difficult, to almost impossible. Once in focus, they would not stay in focus. The adjustment focus for individual eyes also would not stay focused properly and would jump out of focus for no identifiable reason. The clarity of the image was far worse than I have come to expect from Bushnell products. I returned them for a refund.

These binoculars are great. They will fit in your shirt pocket and not even weigh it down. They are really clear too. I love to take them to sports events. And I keep them in my pocket, so I don't drop or beak them! I would recomend them strongly.

This is a nice binocular for the price. Its got a great field of view, great light gathering and a very clear lense system. Its lite enough to carry anywhere and comes with a belt carry case too. If you need a light portable binocular for most amateur uses, this is a great choice for less than $20.
