Solid, Affordable Target Scope,

I bought this scope to use on a new target .308 until I could decide on a better one. It was a on sale at the time for $158, and is an remarkable deal at that price.
The optics of the 3200 Tactical Elite are clear, fairly bright, and comparable to those of the less expensive Nikon Prostaff line. The construction of the Bushnell seems sturdier overall, which may justify part of the disparity in price. It is clearly a better option for a target rifle because it comes standard with a fine mil-dot reticule and high turrets that are easily adjusted by hand, features which are not typically available on Nikon's Prostaff scopes. This 3200 is a fixed-power model, which is more of a disadvantage in hunting than it is at the range.
I don't think that I will be replacing this scope any time soon, because it's entirely adequate to my purpose and I can't really justify the disproportionally higher cost of a scope that would be noticeably better. If you're putting together a...Read more

This is a very good scope. I think being fixed power is an advantage: less to fuss with and the optics are clearer than you could get in most variable power scopes. For target shooting and the open hunting I do it is perfect. The turrets have a nice positive
( but soft) click with the MOA adjustments and the mil-dot reticle is very fine and accurate.
Great scope,

Just purchased a Remington 700P in a .308 and needed a scope. This was going to be my 1000 yard match rifle. I really didnt want to spend an arma and a leg for a scopr but needed a quality optic. This scope fit the bill perfect. It zeroed fast and the optics are plenty clear up to 1000 yards. The adjustements are all right on.
I am so happy with this scope I bought a second one for my 30-06 hunting rifle.
