I have been looking for a good quality pair of binoculars foryears and didn't want to spend a lot of dough. I did my homework and decided on these bushnell trophy 8x32's. I am very, well more than happy with these. They are very light and even forget their on my harness. The clarity of the glass is outstanding. I have friends that have spent upwards of 1500 bucks on optics and are no where near happy with theirs as I am with mine. I also recently purchased a bushnell trophy xlt scope for my ar-15 and am amazed with the quality of that as well... bushnell has come a long way. Not ur grandpas old set of binoculars any more.

Very Good Binoculars,

I needed some light binoculars with good optics for all around use at the mountain cabin and while 4 wheeling in Utah. After looking at several brands in this size bracket, I purchased the Bushnell Trophy model. I have been pleased with the purchase. I especially like the larger optics in the eye pieces that allow for quick aquisition of the viewing target. Model works well in low light situations. No noticeable distortion at the edges of the optic field.
I also purchased some standard eye shields from Field Optic Research. Would highly recommend these inexpensive addons. They allow you to seat the binoculars very comfortably around your eyes which reduces jiggle and viewing fatigue as well as keeping out stray light on a bright day.

Bought these to avoid the extra weight of 8x42 binocs. Better than average optical quality for the price paid. Would be a better product with lens covers. Not a pair of Nikons but pretty close.
