It works great and really solved the hassle of finding the correct sized caps for the scope. I would imagine that in the "field" it would have to be pocketed while sighting, but I made a "fishing" leader cable for it and attached it to my sling fore ring. I think that will keep me from losing it somewhere out in the woods and not interfere with shooting or slinging. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Old Codger (USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Although it is extremely appropriate for the average scope, I have a slight warning for those who might want this for larger scopes. I tried it out on a 40mm scope, 13 inches long, and it was a TIGHT fit and rather difficult to put on. I didn't give it a 5 star because I think the lens cup could have been a little "more full" in design so it would be easier to get it on and stay on. I have a cheap, small 3X9 scope and the eye piece cap especially could have been a little bigger as it feel like it could just slingshot off sometimes. Over all, I would buy again but it's not made for a larger scope. |
