Improve your accuracy at medium range distances while increasing target recognition with the EOTech G23.FTS 3x magnifier. Designed to transition a fielded holographic weapons sight into a lethal medium range optic, the magnifier puts the competition to shame. The magnifier is outfitted with a rugged streamlined optic with superior light transmission, giving you clear images in almost any conditions. The magnifier's unique holographic technology, meanwhile, allows the center dot to remain 1 moa in size while magnifying the angular size of the target. As a result, it's easy to maintain and even improve accuracy without moving closer. Plus, the zero is maintained in the holographic weapons sight and not in the magnifier. That means you never lose zero whether you're targeting through the magnifier or only through the sight.
This is the second generation of EOTech magnifiers, with a half-inch of additional eye relief compared to the first generation, along with fewer moving parts to keep the mount more stable. The company also positioned the windage and elevation adjustments inside the optic rather than in the mount, and added a locking, quick-detach lever for easy attachment and removal of both the optic and the mount. The magnifier--which aligns perfectly with standard height sights--comes with a 7mm riser to accommodate raised sights and works with all existing holographic weapons sights.

10 of 10 people found the following review helpful:  Great but not perfect, By This review is from: Eotech With 3x Magnifier/Flip-To-Side Mount Md: G23FTS (Sports) I have the Eotech G23FTS installed behind an Eotech 517 HWS on a SIG 556 rifle. The 517 by itself is an excellent aiming device, and the magnifier extends its effective range, making for a very accurate weapon up to the limits of the magnifier. Compared to any other sight or scope, the accuracy of this combination is unmatched for moderate distances. As I said, it's excellent, but not perfect. The combination of the 517 and the magnifier adds noticeable weight to the rifle (in excess of a pound), although in my case it did not disturb the rifle's balance. Probably the more disappointing aspect is the eye relief through the magnifier. With the magnifier flipped to the side, the 517 is extremely easy to see through and to sight the target with both eyes open. Then I saw the Eotech 557 with 3x Magnifier on a friend's rifle and it really brings it to the next level. You can easily maintain a tight grouping and a rapid rate of fire at a hundred yards, it's easy to get on target and stay on target. The 3x Magnifier is a must have Eotech accessary for anyone who wants to be able to shoot at ranged targets. |
