Game Reaper Savage 93R17-High Mount (Silver)

REAPER APPEARS ADEQUATE QUALITY AND ONE PIECE CONSTRICTION IS PREFERABLE TO RING AND BASE SCENARIOS. MOUNTED ON A 22 WMR SAVAGE AIDS IN SHOOTING VERY TIGHT GROOPS.

The DNZ Game Reaper high scope mount is a perfect fit for my Savage Mark II FV & provided the needed clearance for the 50mm AO scope I had bought for it. (There was ~0.055" clearance between the barrel and the 2.522" diameter AO ring.)
I really wanted a 1-piece mount after reading of alignment problems a few others had reported using various 2-piece base/ring setups. I have had no such problems with this mount. It is also very well made & the finish is perfect.
The only "issue" I found was that I did have to shorten the 2 front screws about 1 or 2 threads, although I really couldn't tell if they were actually too long or if the last couple of threads in the receiver where bad. (Since they bottom out on the barrel, there was really no way to check or repair the threads if they were the problem.)
