I am an officer at a rifle range and I see alot of equipment. I bought this for my father to put on a 22 rifle for squirrel hunting. It is great! I have NIKON and Weaver that cost much more and for the money it gathers light well. The binocs are great too! Not as good as my Monarchs from NIKON but better than the action binocs from Nikon. I would recommend this product.

The scope:
I received my combo pack today and unpacked it. I immediately went to the scope, which was my primary reason for getting it. Overall, the scope was impressive (for the price). Finish and build quality seem to be inline with my comparable Bushnell Banner. I threw some rings on it and mounted it to my 22, although it may not stay there. I zoomed in and out and everything was clear, even at the 12x setting. The precision reticle, as far as I'm concerned, is the best part of the scope. The crosshairs are super thin and should make for excellent target shooting and daylight plinking. I will seldom use the BDC, but it's there if I need it. I put it aside and waited for the sun to start going down so that I could see its low-light capabilities. Again, I was very satisfied and...Read more

Although the binoculars don't say Pentax any where on them, they are amazingly clear and super compact. I would compare them to a $200 pair of Nikons. The scope is just as clear and seems very well built, but I havn't shot it yet.
