I bought this for an old Remington Mohawk 600 .243 rifle I had just sitting in the safe. This is actually designed for the Remington XP100 pistol, but the recievers and tapped holes on both the guns are the same. I try and outfit all my rifles with dual dovetail mounts and get rid of the windage adjustment in the rear. Dual dovetails are much more stable under extreme use, and require no adjustment after install. Fit and finish was perfect as usual with Leupold products. This was an experiment that went as good as I expected. Any of you out there that have an old Mohawk rifle this is "THE" scope setup, foolproof and as tough as it gets.
