What I really like about this scope is that the left/right up/down knobs don't click, they actually turn with a dime and hold there forever. This makes a more precise adjustment. I put this scope on my Remington 270 and was shooting dead on at 200 yards, every shot. I could zoom in all the way at 100 yards and clearly see where I was hitting.

I used medium rings on this scope and it sits perfectly on my gun.

I shot a deer at 200 yards while it was running with this scope, dead on heart and lung shot. Perfect for long and close shots, very crisp images.

Leupold optics are held to extremely high standards and this one is no exception. The ruggedness, clarity, and generous eye relief are all features that one can count on when owning a rifleman. I have this scope on my AR and it's there to stay. This line of scopes may fall in the low end in the spectrum of Leupold optics but I don't think any rifle is too good for a rifleman!
