Amazon.com Product Review
Leupold mounts are every bit as rugged and dependable as the Leupold optics they're intended to secure. This particular set of 0.65-inch machined-steel STD low rings fits securely with an STD one-or two-piece base, offering maximum accessibility to the breech area of your rifle. STD two-piece bases also fit right- and left-handed actions, with reversible bases available for many actions. In addition, the forward part of the base accepts a dovetail ring, locking it solidly into position. Available in four other ring heights, these STD low rings boast a medium finish and carry Leupold's full lifetime guarantee.
About Leupold From humble immigrant beginnings, Leupold grew--based on a promise of quality--to become a classic American company. In 1907, Fred Leupold set up a one-man shop at 5th and Oak streets in Portland to repair surveying equipment. He was joined by his brother-in-law, Adam Voelpel, and later by inventor John Cyprian Stevens, and the foundations for a century of success were in place.
During Leupold’s second half-century, the company focused heavily on the sports optics business. Leupold’s presence in the hunting and shooting market expanded with innovative optics and features that are now legendary among hunters, shooters, and outdoors enthusiasts. Many of the industry’s standards--nitrogen waterproofing, the Duplex reticle, and more--were Leupold creations.

These are perfect for my 40mm scope on a rem 700. I would recommend getting the leupold wrench to make the front dovetail installation go smoothly. Otherwise you have to come up with a way to turn the front ring without marring it up. Great product! Thanks amazon for fast shipping!

I have used these mounts on my Browning A bolt for years. I have a 3 x 9 x 40 Leupold and the low mounts are perfect for that scope. I also have them mounting a Nikon 3 x 9 x 40 BDC scope and they are right on. I have never had them loosen up.

These scope mounts are great. Easy and Simple to Install. Would recommend them. I have purchased several of these scope mounts with different heights (Low, Med, High) for several guns I have and they work great.
