Marlin Lever Action Weaver Scope Mount

My 336CS is pre-tapped for a rail. It installed withing a min. I recommend putting the long part towards the barrel of the gun otherwise the rail sticks out over the hammer a lil. but didn't stop the hammer. My gun is now heavy as it has a large normal rifle scope. Now off the the range to sight it in. I purchased mine here through opticsplannet. It came in a cool box with discount cards to their sites and not like a cheap China made *bay crap.

I put this on my Marlin 336CS and it fits just fine. There are no instructions, so make sure that you put the longer edge facing forward, and use some blue Loctite. I also ordered medium height rings with this, but it was a mistake, and it put the scope too high to establish a good cheek weld. I used some old low rings I had, and it's fine. Also do not forget to add the hammer extension, as your scope is going to be low over the hammer.

Product exactly as described. A must for the flat top lever actions. If you buy the scope mounts, the scope will sit too high. Stick with this rail and you will have no problems.
