Mounts Weaver Scope Mount

I ordered this base because I was switching the Reflex sight from a carry handle platform. My only complaint is that the sight sits on the mount (not the rail) slightly canted. I was so excited to get out and shoot it, I didn't notice until after I had the sight zeroed in. I removed the sight and the base, and reinstalled, making sure to apply even torquing to the screws, and ensuring that the alignment pins were properly placed. No improvement. It isn't bad enough to replace or seek an alternative, and it didn't move the center of alignment enough to cause a performance issue. BUT, when you are putting a $500 sight on a $1600 dollar rifle, you kind of want things to be "right". I would have given it three and a half stars if it was an option, but too ornery to give it four.

I will say, that even after removing the base from the sight, and putting it back on the rail (Weaver to Picatinny no less), it maintained its zero perfectly. For anyone wondering, this base...Read more
