5 of 5 people found the following review helpful:  great inexpensive scope, This review is from: NcStar SEECR3942R Illuminated Red / Green Rifle Scope (Misc.) i put this on a .223 AR rifle. its a neat little scope. very compact comes with nice solid rings, and a rather thick rubber coating. the optics are clear and stay clear up to max magnification. the flip up covers are great, if not the sturdiest. the rings come mounted, but with no "thought". dont slap this scope on the rail with the mounts as they are shipped. do what you always do with a scope and rings. find their placement, take the rings apart, screw them tight, carefully place the scope on the bottom rings, evenly (quarter or half turns) tighten each side till its hand tight + a half turn. i didnt use electrical soft tape compound on these simple cause they got rubber on them. do your zeroing with a boresight or what not. then remove rail screws and add ur blue loctite and confirm zero. aslong as the optics are nice and clear and the scope is sturdy everything else is user error....

This review is from: NcStar SEECR3942R Illuminated Red / Green Rifle Scope (Misc.) I ordered this scope to put on a rifle with a weaver rail and expected it to come as shown with rings. Long story short this is not a 4-9X42 by a 3-9X42 which has bad reviews for the optics and also is hard mouted for a A4 or AR 15 only. You could do better than this scope advertized as a 4-9X42 for this price when it is really the 3-9X42 advertized elswhere. |
