NcStar AR15 Weaver inch Riser

This mount is very good. It is 135 mm long and 10.5 mm high. It is a picatinny design. It also appears to be powder coated black. The finish is very tough and not easily scatched. I have added and subtracted various scopes with only a slight marring inside of the slots, but the finish is intact. It accepts all weaver/ picatinny accessories. The types of scopes that would be compatible are the 1x30, 1x40 fixed mount, low mount rings, Aimpoint with low mount. I have tried it with a 2x42 red dot scope with a low mount and it does fit, but you can not readily use the lens caps.

When purchasing a riser, not only is the length important, the height is even more important. My current mount is too tall. I'd like to purchase a lower riser mount but cannot find information on the height of any of the risers that are for sale. Frustrating at best.
