Pentax Gameseeker riflescopes offer all the features you expect in a high-end scope, such as a solid one-piece tube construction, a waterproof and nitrogen-filled housing, and fully multicoated optics. The Gameseeker 3x-9x 50mm matte scope is no exception, with a zoom that lets you hunt at both close and medium range, along with such specifications as a 33- to 12.1-foot field of view at 100 yards and 3 inches of eye relief. The scope is outfitted with a solid, one-piece, 1-inch tube construction that's extremely durable, along with a waterproof exterior that's designed to handle the most extreme hunting situations. The nitrogen-filled housing, meanwhile, keeps the scope's optical elements from fogging up during moist mornings or rainy afternoons. Perhaps best of all, the Gameseeker boasts fully multicoated optics with PentaBright technology, giving your targets a sharp, clear image through the lens. All Gameseeker scopes include a bullet-drop-compensating Precision Plex reticle.

I've used a couple of different brands including Bushnell, Nikon, and Tasco on .22LRs, 870 pumps, and rifles from .270 to 7mm mag. The Pentax seems to be more clear than similarly-priced scopes of the same size. And the Precision Plex reticle works better for me than the standard duplex in the Bushnells and the Nikon's BDC circles. On my 7mm mag the Pentax has been beaten pretty hard by full power 175gr loads and hasn't missed a beat. I can't remember the last time I zero'd it. I just go out and shoot and it's dead on. Always. I've brought it in and out of freezing weather many times while hunting whitetails and hogs and I've never seen a hint of a fog-up. The 50mm bell lets me see into dark corners of pinestands and hardwoods almost as well as a first gen NVS if the moon is full. Pretty amazing performance and excellent quality. I like the Pentax GS series so much I'm buying a 1.75-6 for my .270 pump for the heavy brush and another for my slug gun.

Have 4 of these Scopes. Have had scopes that cost lots more money & didn't have near the scope that these are. Pentax is an old Quality name in Optics and these scopes are quality with Great Light Transmission and very clear Optics. This is probably the best scope on the market for the money.
