be low in power for close work but be able to shoot at long distances if the need arrived. I used this scope on a 416 Weatherby to practice before my Brown bear hunt in Alaska. It has withstood the recoil of quite a few rounds without any problems. On the hunt it rained every day but the scope never fogged or took on water. It is very clear and bright and I like the focus adjustment on the rear. The price was great. After mounting it I was unable to adjuse the virtical cross hair to the right with a lazer.
Took the rifle to the range a few weeks latter due to the weather. Could not adjust the scope to the right. The scope was shooting about 3 feet left even with the adjustment turned all the way out to the right. Elevation was OK. Optics OK. Sent the scope to Pentax Customer service address on warrenty card. The Mail Returned it as it could not forword. I guess Pentax address changed. I am going to contact Amazon for help. |
