The Tasco Pronghorn scope is everything you need in an inexpensive package. Duplex reticle, clear optics, solid construction. Don't try to compare this to a $400 scope, but it is a great scope for the price. I own several of these, and they are real workhorses. Are there better scopes? Sure, but not in this price range. The only thing that could improve the Pronghorn without adding a lot of cost would be a 40mm tube.
