I purchased the 2X7 for a deer rifle. Quality of the scope is fine and it's a good value. However, it will not fit on a long action! This somewhat important information is not to be found on the item description or the manufacturer's website. It will end up as a spare for a short action (ie unused).

Very nice sight picture when looking through this glass. Smooth zoom adjustments and solid clicks with adjustable zero marks, and still looks good at full magnification. I have only used in inside so far, but it's really clear and bright. Should let a lot of sunlight through once we get outside. Finish is kinda rough textured, but may make for added durability. For the USA made quality, warranty, and price, this can't be beat.
