allows for use of both a scope and iron sights but looks a bit cheap. It is shiny chrome-plate rather than plain matte-stainless, and feels a bit clunky when you get everything together. It did fit fine though, with no needed modification. Note that the two screws in the front are closer together than the two in the back, make sure you line up the right holes before trying to fasten it down.

Ruger 10/22 See Through Weaver Mount/Silver
First,this is not a Weaver made mount,it is a weaver type mount made by NcStar. Second,it looks like a very poor quality casting--metal is missing along half of the top rail on one side. Third,it looks like this missing metal would cause one mounting ring to not be parallel with the other thus causing you to waste a lot of scope windage or elevation adjustment. Fourth,the front of the mount overhangs the front of the 10/22 receiver by about one eighth of an inch--the mount was not made for a 10/22. Lastly,although I did not attach the mount and take it to the range for the above reasons,I did put it on top of the receiver and look through it--it does not appear you would have a good line of sight through the mount--the 10/22 iron sights are low and this mount does not appear to have really...Read more
Mounting holes off center,

The mounting holes were drilled off center rendering the scope base useless. It looked like a good product that would have made a sturdy scope mount had it been drilled properly, I'm back to the factory base without being able to use my iron sites.
