Note for those who have trouble reading: This item is a .22-250 boresight! If you don't know much about firearms in general, it won't work for .40 caliber handguns! It wasn't designed for a .22 rimfire rifle! .22-250 is a caliber of centerfire cartridge; look it up!

There is not one helpful review for this item, because of the "noise" from a bunch of customers who either don't know about guns, or can't read. I ordered it anyway, because what I need is a .22-250 boresight, and that's what this item is. I'll repost if it does anything other than what it is supposed to do.

I bought this to adjust a scope on a Remington 597. The sighter didn't even fit in the chamber when it was wide open. I don't know if it would have done what I wanted or not since I couldn't get it into the gun.
