First of all, my apologies to those who are much better informed than I when first purchasing this scope. For all those who read the fine print at the dealer's pages, and already knew that this scope's primary lens CANNOT be exposed to DAYLIGHT, this review is NOT for you.
This is my first night vision rifle scope. So please excuse my inexperience (if it is a matter of common sense that such night vision products cannot have their lenses exposed to daylight - this is really the first time I've heard of this).
I did my standard amount of research on this scope. Probably through my own faulty fact finding procedures, I did not come across any literature saying that this scope's primary lens cannot be exposed to daylight. For those of you wondering, yeah... the manual and a sticker on the main lens cap gives you some warning not to flip it open in daylight (you'll find out about it after it arrives).
