The Sightmark 3x tactical magnifier allows shooters to quickly acquire the target, and then move the magnifier out of the way without having to detach the unit. Inspired by military and law enforcement applications, the magnifier is designed for use in conjunction with holographic, collimated reflex, and other compatible weapons sights, giving the shooter the benefit of a reflex sight and scope in combination.
The magnifier increases the magnification of the accompanying sight, boosting sighting range and improving target recognition--especially at medium range distances. The Sightmark 3x tactical magnifier can assist in quick target acquisition up to 200 yards and accurate target shooting at 100 yards. The magnifier also features extended eye relief for comfort, a wide field of view, and high-quality multicoated optics for improved visibility and clarity.
The Sightmark 3x is compatible with most Picatinny and Weaver mounts, and is designed to work with EOTech, Aimpoint, Trijicon, and other brands. In addition, the magnifier's lightweight, waterproof, fogproof, and shatterproof frame provides durability in all elements.

Got this magnifier in and was a little skeptical due to the price but man was I surprised. Not only does it have the quick detach so it can easily be mounted but it also slides to the side so you have the ability to quickly switch between longer range shots and quick acquisition. I used it with my Sightmark holo sight but it also worked behind my buddies Eo Tech due to the windage and elevation adjustments on it. Would highly recommend this magnifier for anyone looking for an affordable magnifier that will do everything.

This item works perfectly with my EOTech Holographic sight. It slides easily to the side so that I can use the holographic sight for quick acquisition of close targets and slides right back into place for farther targets. This will be a permanent addition to my AR-15.

I recently purchased the SightMark 3x Tactical Magnifier with the slide-to-side mount and was impressed overall. The price makes this 3x worth it for individuals who want a basic magnifier. While I was overall pleased with my purchase I am disapointed with two things:
- The slide-to-side mount is a bit loose and allows the optic to wiggle.
- It should be noted that this optic works with EOTech, and Aimpoint. Beware that other optics may have issues. I have a holographic sight, aimpoint, and an ACOG and when I use the holographic sight the dot appears blurred. It works fine with my Aimpoint, but just note that unless you have an Aimpoint, or EOTech you may need a new sight.
While I purchased this for my civilian AR-15, I personally would spend the extra money and purchase the EOTech version if I were deploying again.
