The Sightmark Ghost Hunter 2x24 riflescope kit is a versatile choice for your nighttime vision needs. In its default mode, the Ghost Hunter acts as a night vision riflescope, with a high-quality resolution that allows you to locate your target quickly and accurately. However, the Ghost Hunter also doubles as a night vision monocular for observational purposes. Regardless of its use, the Ghost Hunter produces a crisp, clear picture.
This riflescope features a built-in, high-power infrared illuminator that helps you see in low-ambient light conditions or total darkness. The riflescope is also well built, with a high-quality polymer construction protected by the Sightmark limited lifetime warranty. And to protect the night vision intensifier tube, the scope automatically shuts off when exposed to bright light, helping ensure longevity. Built with a low profile, the Ghost Hunter is designed to co-witness with a reflex sight or holographic sight. Other features include a quick power-up, a 1/4-inch socket for a tripod or accessories, a durable nylon carrying case, and a lens cloth.

ok. if your looking for a good night vision for a fair price? buy it. but here what your going to get. the sight is great in the dark. but on a rifle it has its moments. it work with any red dot that has a good low setting. but the ir that is on the ghost hunter will reflect off of you site. that has a on off switch. so it is better to have a good ir tac. light on your rifle. with that set up you can see past 100 yards. im using it for coyote hunting and it work fine. good size. easy to put on.

I bought this to mount on a Spike's Tactical M4LE and was excited when it arrived until I turned out all the lights in the house and turned on the "night vision" scope. I know it's not a top of the line model, but I still expected something more than a blurry image. I could make out shapes, but no detail whatsoever. Maybe I got a defective model, but I returned it for a refund and will save up for something better. I won't be taking my chances with another one of these models.

I am re-evaluating this equipment since I have tried several set ups with it in the last 2 days.
First and foremost... this scope has NO RETICLE whatsoever. There is no red dot, no cross hair... NOTHING. It is a spotter scope that they added a rail mount to in order to sell it as a rifle scope. So you have to figure out how to mount it to get a targeting device.
My first thought was I could use it behind a red dot like I do with my 3x and 5x magnifiers... but it does not work anything like those units. It is almost useless behind most red dot optics (tried it behind 3 different units I own)... However, it will work so-so at up to about 40 yards. There is just too much parallax distortion between the red-dots and the NV scope unless you have a picatinny rail that is as long as your gun. Mine is only 12", so I am limited on my mounting options unless I drop another $100 on a full length quad rail setup. This seems kind of silly when I can leave my rifle...Read more
