Summary: Not worth even the cheapest price 2010-01-27
Comment: There is not a good point I can make about this optic. The different reticle's don't hold a consistent zero. The crosshairs are canted. It's invisible at any setting on a sunny day.

Summary: Sightmark Reflex sight 2010-01-14
Comment: I purchased the Sightmark Reflex Sight for my target pistol. After only one adjustment the sight waswright on. I was very surprized how easy it was to adjust and how accurate it was.It is a great buy for the money. I plan to buy another one for a friend.

Summary: Don't bother 2009-12-13
Comment: I saw this product online and thought that it might be a good bargain for someone not wanting to spend five hundred bucks on an EO. Well I was wrong. It is true that "you get what you pay for". First, I placed an order for a sightmark scope and received a brand named FIREFIELD. Never heard of these guys and I can see why. The scope looks identical but when you turn the thing on, there is no red dot display. What a disappointment. Secondly, when you try and call customer service, no one answers. I stayed on the line for nearly 30 minutes and nothing. It's like these guys know you will call so they don't answer. All I want is either a refund or an exchange!

Summary: doesn't stand up to recoil 2009-12-03
Comment: I had this on my mossberg 500, i shot about 100 rounds through it. At first it seemed like a really good sight, parralex correction worked great, accurate, the whole nine. Then after about 40-50 rounds the sights became really inaccurate, and when i went to adjust them you would end up shooting low again, then the glass cracked on it and i gave up on trusting it to save my life. Would not recomend this for someone who is going to really put it to use, because it can't hold up in the long run. And you might say oh well it has a warranty. well what good is a warranty when you trusting this sight to save your life and it fails you.

Summary: Good sight, but not amazing 2009-11-27
Comment: This sight is DEFINITELY not bad, it's just not amazing. It looks, feels, and performs great; it's extremely bright (of course in a good way), and all of the reticules work great. The parallax is ALMOST nonexistent, but the more annoying thing is that the reticule gets distorted (more like curved) at the edges of the sight. What was weird is that sometimes it looks like it is ghosting, but then I look through it through the other eye and it's fine. Just remember to keep both eyes open. The only competition this sight has is the Eotech one, but since I don't have one, I can't compare (unless someone wants to send me one ;P). The adjusting works fine as far as I can tell. The allen key it comes with is kinda weird, it seems that the long tip is slightly wider than the short end, so it can be tough to fit the long end in the up/down adjuster, but it's an extremely negligible problem. Oh, from the front side, it's perfect; the ruby coating or whatever is just the right reflectiveness: not too much, not too little (also, the reticule does NOT show through on the other side, an obvious plus). I'm hoping to buy a magnifier with a QS (quick swivel) sight mount, which hopefully will work with a reflex sight, but I'm not positive. One other awesome thing is that the weight is great, ESPECIALLY when you first pick it up in the cardboard box from your front porch. Well, that's all that I can think of... great sight, decent price (about $47 when I got it); the only thing that I didn't like was that it gave me a feeling of regret for buying it... I would suggest asking yourself, "Do I really need this? Do I really want this?"
