I bought one of these for my Remington 870 and I am very disappointed. The red mark is blurry with ghosting. The construction feels cheap. Other people say "Don't skimp on optics." They're right. Now that I've wasted my money on the Sightmark, I have to go out and buy another high quality holographic sight. I might use this on a toy gun or something.

I mounted this sight on a 12 Guage Remington 870 tactical. The sight works as it should in average to low light conditions and is actually a nice looking piece of equipment but during the day (outdoors only, indoors the reticle is visible) the reticle is completely invisible rendering the sight and the weapon useless. This would be a 3 or four star sight if you could only use it in the sunlight. Waste of money!!!

I recently purchased a sightmark ultra shot reflex sight from amazon. Overall impressions of my transaction was very good. I received the item well ahead of the expected date. Too, bad I can't say the same for the product. The sight looked and felt like quality. But after five shots using it on my Benelli M4 the elevation nut broke off and sight now faces downward. It's a peace of junk. Spec said it was shock proof. But not so, gonna return for a refund and get something else. Hope this helps.
