Summary: Good if you know what you're getting... 2009-08-01

Comment: I was new to buying scopes and I didnt know what all of the scope sizes really meant. When I was looking at them, I figured the bigger - the better, but that's not necessarily the case. I should have gone for a 9x30 or 9x40 because the scope was way too big. Maybe someday I'll get a higher-powered rifle that this would be useful for, but for right now, it's a little too big for what I have.

As for the product itself, it's very clear and very good. The scope-covers are nice and helpful for keeping the scope looking/working like new, so that's a good add-on. Not sure if that's a common addition, but it was very nice to have to keep it looking and working nicely.

Comment: Just ordered my 2nd Simmons 3-9x50 Blazer i will be putting this one on my 2nd Marlin 917vs .17hmr . Very sharp and accurate !!
