The threads on the rings I received with my scope stripped out after only a couple of weeks of shooting, with only moderate tightening, so I had been searching around for a new set. I didn't feel the need to spend more than $20, but still wanted a quality set. I had poked around a few local stores without any luck so I searched on Amazon and found these for about $12.

All I can say is that they're great--much better than the stock rings. The thumb screws are nice for setting things up quickly and for easy removal if you want to switch back to open sights. I haven't had any problems with the threads either loosening or stripping while shooting and the color is a dead-on match for my scope (I was worried that it would either be too shiny or not shiny enough). Great rings for not a lot of money!
