Simmons ProHunter 2-6x 32mm Truplex Handgun Scope (Silver)

This is an extremely well made and reliable scope for most large caliber and even some smaller caliber revolvers. I use this product for my Taurus Tracker 357 Magnum and I am impressed by the functionality as well as the design quality. This item has renewed my enthusiasm for spending those big bucks for ammo in my 357 mag! (I also purchased the accuscope sighting chart which saved me about $200 in ammo cost.)If you need a handgun scope for hunting or shooting practice at the range, give this product a try! I am a military member who enjoys a great product that helps to improve accuracy and overall fundamentals of shooting. The scope is about 9oz and can feel like 9 pounds on a heavy wheel gun. I purchased this scope to mount on a Ruger Mark III Hunter and have found it to be excellent. The scope was outstanding right out of the box and after several hundred rounds for me to adapt to using a scope (have never used one on a pistol before and last used one on a rifle probably over 50 years ago) I have found it to be extremely accurate and great at holding its setting.

It has resulted in a fairly heavy pistol and I cannot imagine using it at above 4X (most of the time at 2X or 3X), but my shooting has been in an indoor range limited to about 20 yards.

Great value, well made, I would recommend it highly.

I haven't tried this out at 100 yards like I intend to but at the 10 yard range, i was able to zoom in so close to the target numbers that I'm able to achieve exact bullet placement. It also has stood up to the whip and recoil of my 460 S&W Magnum. The focal length is geared perfectly for pistol. For my needs it seems like a great deal esp if you can get it in the 100 buck neighborhood. I've witheld giving it a 5 out of 5 only because I haven't used it in the field yet.
