Swarovski Optics Product Details - Ratings and reviews for swarovski optiks z6 extended eye relief riflescope (1-6x24 ee, 4-reticule).
The Z6 1-6 x 24 is the ideal safari riflescope. Enjoy the widest field of view of any comparable scope when at 1x and zoom all the way to 6x magnification for plains game or longer range shots. The Z6 1-6 x 24 is the most complete riflescope for large caliber rifles. Extended eye relief model is ideal for large calibers, providing an unsurpassed level of viewing and safety.
Taking its cue from the practical challenges of modern hunters, the Swarovski Z6 1-6x24 riflescope is the perfect companion for large-caliber rifles, with sufficient magnification capacity for deer stalking or safari hunting. Hidden behind the elegant appearance of the Z6 is state-of-the-art technology that has revolutionized the practical benefit of a riflescope. For instance, this version of the Z6 offers a moderate 1-6x zoom range, a 24mm objective lens, and an extended eye relief. This allows for plenty of distance versatility and precision, along with additional safety for rifles that have strong recoils. The Z6 also includes an ultra-reliable 4-reticle to help you accurately line up your target. Finally, the Z6 offers an extremely wide field of view of 100.5 feet at 100 yards (at the lowest power)--far more than most comparable scopes--giving you the edge in thick cover or close range.
Nitrogen-purged, waterproof, and submersible to 13 feet, the Z6 riflescope carries a lifetime warranty.

Swarovski's Z6 riflescope includes a number 4 reticle for precise aiming. |

About Swarovski Optik
Although founded in 1949, Swarovski Optik's roots actually trace all the way back to 1895, when Austrian Daniel Swarovski--who invented the world's first electric grinding machine for jewelry stones--established the family-owned Swarovski Crystal in the province of Tyrol. Since then, the name Swarovski has become synonymous worldwide with the clearest crystal, precision grinding, and a brilliant spirit of innovation, as the original enterprise continued branching out into additional lines of business.
Swarovski Optik owes its rise to Wilhelm Swarovski, son of the original founder and an avid hobby astronomer, who decided to build his own improved binocular in 1935 at a mere 17 years of age. With access to the specialized glass production and finishing technologies already used to manufacture jewelry stones in his father's factory, Wilhelm managed to develop a novel prism fabrication and grinding process that he applied in constructing his first 6x30 binocular. Wilhelm went on to found Swarovski Optik KG in Absam, Tyrol, in 1949, thus laying the foundation for a sports optics company with a global reputation. His company's first serial product, the Habicht 7x42, is still an industry standard in the field of hunting optics and continues to be produced in the best tradition of its founder.
