Swarovski Optiks Z6i Illuminated Extended Eye Relief Riflescope (1-6x24 EE, 4-I Reticle)
Z6i 1-6x24 Illuminated Rifle scopes with Extended Eye Relief - CD Reticle Models Z6i 1-6x24 Rifle. The new Z6 generation from Swarovski Optik sees the launch of a universal rifle scope for all-round use putting an end to the problem of choosing the correct rifle scope for the job. The Swarovski Z6 i 1-6x24 Illuminated Rifle scope offers an increase of 50percent in field of view and 50percent more magnification range. The hunter is able to spot and acquire the target easier and with superior success. With the latest Z6 Rifle scope you can simultaneously achieve a greater magnification for the identification of detail and an accurate shot regardless of whether close or far away. In this case an innovative lens system guarantees steady smooth images with excellent quality. The innovative construction of the reticle in the Swarovski Z6i 1-6x24 Rifle scope results in a low design thus providing an unrestricted view over the rifle scope when in the firing position. With the Z6 models the tried and tested High Grid technology is built stylishly into the eyepiece well protected by a sturdy forged aluminium alloy housing and completely watertight. The new ergonomically designed operating elements plus two separate memory locations for day and night settings guarantee additional functionality(illuminated models). The new Z 6 line of Swarovski Rifle scopes have a large choice of innovative reticles in the second image plane: this means that only the target is enlarged when changing the magnification and not the reticle itself which makes aiming considerably easier. In addition the Z6 i 1-6x24 Swarovski Rifle scopes by Swarovski safety against recoil is achieved without restricting the field of view thanks to an extended eye relief which is enlarged by 19 to 50 percent(90mm to 120mm). An elegant and ergonomic design rounds off the external appearance of the new Z6
Taking its cue from the practical challenges of modern hunters, the Swarovski Z6i 1-6x24 illuminated riflescope is ideal for shooting moving targets at short distances, but also has sufficient magnification capacity for deer stalking. Hidden behind the elegant appearance of the Z6i is state-of-the-art technology that has revolutionized the practical benefit of a riflescope. For instance, this version of the Z6i offers a crisp 1-6x magnification range, a 24mm objective lens, an extended eye relief of 4.72 inches, and a useful 100.5-foot field of view at 1,000 yards (at the low setting).

The Z6i 1-6x24 riflescope lets you hunt targets at both short and medium distances. |
The field-of-view convenience is particularly obvious during driven hunts, as it lets you identify your target faster and more accurately even in narrow forest aisles. Should you need to shoot at medium-distance targets, the 6x magnification will work beautifully. And to help you accurately line up your shot, the scope includes a precise 4-I illuminated reticle. The reticle's illumination makes the scope suitable for dusk and nighttime hunts, with a low profile that provides an unrestricted view while in the firing position. Plus, the built-in illumination unit on the eyepiece--which includes ergonomic day/night controls and +/- controls--is well protected by a sturdy, watertight housing.

The scope's sophisticated lens optics produces a wide field of view and optimum edge-to-edge sharpness. |
Swarovski Z6i riflescopes offer a number of common features, including a 1.18-inch main tube, a quadratic or rectangular adjustment range, a series of microstructure grooves, innovative lens optics, and robust mechanics. The slim and shapely main tube--which is made of a rugged light alloy--fits every type of rifle, with a patented Swarovski Optik SR rail for easy mounting and high recoil resistance. The quadratic or rectangular adjustment system, meanwhile, lets you enjoy a full range of elevation/windage even in the marginal areas of the adjustment range. The adjustment mechanism also includes a zero setting system, so you can precisely adjust the point of impact without using tools.
The construction details are the scope's true distinguishing features, however. The microstructure grooves, for example, offer precisely defined ribbing, which prevents residual reflections inside the tube to produce bright, high-contrast images even in intense light. The sizable magnification range stems from the innovative lens design, a sophisticated, high-light-transmission optical system that produces a wide field of view, optimum edge-to-edge sharpness, and a steady reticle system. And to keep it all together, Swarovski added such robust mechanics as a coil spring system that delivers excellent shot-by-shot precision, shock-resistance even with large-caliber rifles, a nitrogen-filled body to prevent fogging, and a waterproof exterior that's safe to depths of up to 13 feet. All Swarovski riflescopes carry a lifetime warranty.

The scope comes with an illuminated 4-I reticle for better low-light hunting. |

About Swarovski Optik
Although founded in 1949, Swarovski Optik's roots actually trace all the way back to 1895, when Austrian Daniel Swarovski--who invented the world's first electric grinding machine for jewelry stones--established the family-owned Swarovski Crystal in the province of Tyrol. Since then, the name Swarovski has become synonymous worldwide with the clearest crystal, precision grinding, and a brilliant spirit of innovation, as the original enterprise continued branching out into additional lines of business.
Swarovski Optik owes its rise to Wilhelm Swarovski, son of the original founder and an avid hobby astronomer, who decided to build his own improved binocular in 1935 at a mere 17 years of age. With access to the specialized glass production and finishing technologies already used to manufacture jewelry stones in his father's factory, Wilhelm managed to develop a novel prism fabrication and grinding process that he applied in constructing his first 6x30 binocular. Wilhelm went on to found Swarovski Optik KG in Absam, Tyrol, in 1949, thus laying the foundation for a sports optics company with a global reputation. His company's first serial product, the Habicht 7x42, is still an industry standard in the field of hunting optics and continues to be produced in the best tradition of its founder.
