I used these rings to mount a Vortex 6-24x 50mm scope on my Marlin XL7 and they were great
for six months. I used one side point to attach a 500 lumen flashlight and WOW it worked great.
After six months, then at the gun range, I noticed my shot groups open up. The rings had loosened up.
The shims have a tough time staying put for that heavy of a gun. After I got it tightened and sighted back in, I used blue LOK TITE in all the threads. I hope that will hold it tight!

I love these rings. I got them for my Crosman Nitro Venom and Benjamin Trail np XL. These rings are for 30mm tubes but come with adapters to fit 1" scopes as well. Both the Venom and Trail np xl come with weaver rails but only allow for a single weaver top rail. This was a problem for me as I didn't like the barrel mounted rails as they can scratch up the barrel and tend to get in the way of the break barrel action of the rifle. These were a Godsend! I quickly wipped of the old mounts and put these on and attached an Inova Bolt cr123 flashlight to it and it works flawlessly. The hotspot of the flashlight was centered with where the scope is pointing and gave me a good 30 yard of clear visibility that I could use for night shooting. I am also considering getting a laser to mount of the other side rail. One thing to note though is if you scope have flip up caps you may not be able to mount anything on the top rail unless you remove the front cap.
Highly recommended!
