Although this device DOES let you mount an upper optic, the way they machined the lower tactical rail is NOT standards compliant in that there is insufficient relief/inletting on the lower rail to allow most if not all devices to attach properly without additional machining on the scope mount itself. This effectively blocked my Insight X2 sight from mounting since I couldn't slide it into place. It would probably block most other mounts that have more than a very very shallow claw.

The upper rail, however, is free with the exception of the forward end, which again doesn't allow enough depth relief for this type of rail claw (e.g. most of the good milled steel ones).

Frankly it looks like someone with a machine shop got a PARTIAL description of the Picatinny type rail mount and tried to create what SHOULD be a good device with proper tolerances observed, but which turns out to be a device which requires additional machining of the mount, weakening it, to attach...Read more

No other way to put it This is junk did not fit my glock or my issc 22 pistol the chinese did a poor job on the copy I am glad i did not pay more then 10 dollars for it. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy.
