Well made,

These mounts are very well made. The actual ring is aluminum -- so, limit your torque on the screws. With 3 screw per side per cap, they have plenty of clamping power without over torquing the ring cap screws.
These are for a 30mm diameter sight -- do not confuse them with 1 inch rings.
These mounts are a bit long. Not a very good choice for Ultradot.
Weaver base mounts will fit either a Picatinney or Weaver rail. The Picatinney rail is a MIL-SPEC version of the weaver mount -- having a defined slot width, depth, and spacing.
Selecting rails, rings, and scopes is often a matter of personal choice mixed with a little trial and error.

These rings were intalled on a Savage 110 with EGW 20 MOA picatinny base. Scope objective is 44mm. These turned out to be a perfect application.
The bolt pattern on these matches the bolt pattern on SWFA supersniper rings (which are similar, if not the same as Burris Xtreme 30mm rings).
I was pleasantly suprised to find these are MADE IN THE USA. I wish they were more readily advertised that way as I looked everywhere for reasonably priced domestically made 30mm rings.
I'm pretty sure Burris and SWFA rings are made in China. Please correct me if they aren't. Would be very happy to find out they're made here too.

Got these rings cause I didn't want to shell out for some of the more expensive ones and these definitely do the job. Mounted on a 5.56 and they seems to keep stable after a few hundred rounds. Installation was extremely simple and the fit was superb. They'll even attach to a rail if you accidentally put the loose side of the bracket upside down (which I did the first time).
