Bought this to hook a spotting scope to the truck window so we could observe a pair of nesting Eagles at a distances it is simple and works great just what we needed to get a steady mounting point for the scope. Nice and sturdy no shake when zoomed in as long as truck is shut off offers a very sturdy mount..
