I admit I cringed at the cost of this kit, but I have Zeiss lenses and was a bit apprehensive about how third party products might affect the coatings. A recent trip to the North Carolina beaches put the cost in perspective. Windy conditions had sand and salt spray airborne everywhere. The brush was invaluable for for clearing away loose particles. I tried both the fluid and the wipes. Both cleaned away salt spray from my lenses and binoculars and left them sparkling without smudges or smears. All of the kit components fit neatly into the included case. The whole thing takes up very little room in my camera bag.

After doing considerable due diligence, I settled on the Zeiss Ikon Complete Optics Cleaning Kit to care for my Zeiss, Sony and Minolta lenses. I've been very pleased with the way the wipes gently clean the glass without requiring pressure or causing streaking. The kit arrives in in a small soft case, easily stored in my camera bags. I recommend this product, without qualification, to anyone who cares about their camera lenses.
